Machine Operator. Operated machines that rolled plastic in rolls. They came off an extruder into a huge bubble of plastic from there they’d pass through a few rollers to press the air out, finally they go through the machines that rolled the plastics into rolls with a certain length width and size. If the bubble of plastic burst I’d have to quickly remove the remaining plastic at the bottom of the extruder before it harden, tie the bottom of the old plastic to the top of the new plastic and startup the winders and wait for the plastic bubble to get back into the correct size.

Line Coordinator. Made sure the lines were running and if any problems occurred fix them whether it would be with the cappers the sealers or even the filler. Unloaded trailers, or rail carts into tanks. Made sure we had the right order components and that the right tank was connected. Made sure each line had sufficient people to run for the night. Also forklift drove for the lines when needed. Trained people to connect or strap a tank, how to fix cappers and case erectors. Also how to use the computer system so they’d know how to scan components into the system. Communicated with customer services to let them know when we would finish the order or if we were short components so we would meet our clients’ qualifications.

Machine Operator. Adjusted and maintained a complicated machine, Zuckermann. This machine took the wood stock and sanded them down to a certain size so the sanders, which was the next process in line, could give it the finishing touches as to sanding it down. There would be a total of 7 master stock we would change over to depending on what order we had to do. Also ran the KOMO machines which made the cuts into the wood stocks from which the trigger and magazine clips would go.
