Execution of QAG Automation tool for Sample picking and other major validations like filenaming, ePub validation, Image resolution etc.

Checking whether all bookmarks should be in collapsed mode or not.

Ensure the specifications points within the sample picked

Run the XML Validation tool and ensure the file is error free

Giving Appropriate Feedback, if any error found in formatting.

Preparing a report which contains list of errors

Project Description:

This project is a multi-year initiative called Books@JSTOR to provide 200,000+ archive-quality digital editions of the best scholarly monographs published by the premier university presses in the United States. With Books@JSTOR, JSTOR intends to do for scholarly monographs what it did for scholarly journals. That means JSTOR will provide libraries with archive-quality electronic reproductions of books, which will be available long into the future. Where the quality and longevity of JSTOR journals has enabled libraries to cancel paper subscriptions in lieu of holding electronic subscriptions, the Books initiative will serve the same purpose. Libraries will then be able to make more efficient use of their physical space while also meeting their constituents’ demand for online access to content.

Responsibilities:

Attending daily meetings along with Team members, Team leaders, Quality leaders, Quality manager for Developing QA Plan.

Validating Xml Tagging .

Giving Appropriate Feedback, if any error found xml tagging.

Preparing “Data Quality Certificate” for each Batch/Lot Submission

Checking the Character Accuracy.

Sending the mails to Production team along with the QA Report stating the Acceptance or Rejection of the batch.
