Construction Engineer and Inspector

Engineer heavy Civil Highway projects (i.e. S.R. 20 in Georgia), produce inspection reports for structures built on site and produce statements for monetary supplement for the work finished. Know the IBC (International Building Code), Erosion Control, International Mechanical Code (IMC) and the electrical engineering codes and provide third party engineering inspections for all commercial structures. Study construction contracts. Monitor Landfills by testing ground water wells (Use of Balers &/or Bladder Pumps) and Methane gas wells. Run analysis on volatile and metal components that may be found in the Ground Water/ Methane wells. Use field data to compile information using Surfer 8, Contouring and 3D Surface Maping for Scientists and Engi-neers and Chempoint/Chemstat RCRA Groundwater Data Statistical Analysis Software.

Key Contributions:

1. Independently performed Inspections with minimal training. Third party engineering inspections were completed independently within 1 week of starting employment.

2. Built three MSE walls on S.R. 20(Ga) Hwy project. Independently inspected construc-tion on walls and paid out over $200,000 for work completed.
