Professor of Practice
Teaching Introduction to Management Information Systems (a core course in the College of Business). Students are introduced to computer systems. They are taught the basics of computer hardware, software and networking. Students learn the role of information technology in business, as it applies to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management and Customer Relationship Management. Relational Database Systems are explained with a project using Microsoft Access. An Excel project teaches the basics, using logic functions and the time value of money.
Teaching E-Business Application Strategy. (A required course for Entrepreneurship) Students develop skills in Web Development learning how to use XHTML and CSS to develop effective web pages. Emphasis is placed on good layout and ease of use. They are introduced to the use of Requirements Documents as a means of providing detailed specifications for communicating with developers and testers.

Developed programs for the automated testing of graphical user interfaces (GUIs) using Mercury Interactive's WinRunner and Xrunner applications. Followed up with JAVA applications for interpreting and classifying the results.
Developed board test routines for an OC-48 telecommunications product utilizing Agere network processors and a Motorola 8260 (PowerPC) communicating over a PowerSpan PCI interface. Development was done in C running on VxWorks.
Developed the software architecture and device drivers for a SONET/SDH optical drop module (ODM).
