FXO Production Support – Senior Software Engineer
FX Trading Production/ Application Support team consisting of technical staff, providing support for Product Controllers and Finance Users Globally based on 24x7 principles. Duties:
1. Offer collaboration and coordination with Global Teams and provide second line support for FXO Users. 2. Offer premium service to the business globally where focuses are APAC time zone. 3. The Production Support Analyst
Working within Application Support team consisting of technical staff, providing support for Product Controllers and Finance Users Globally based on 24x7 principles. The Team are located in HK, China, France, UK, Brazil and India. As a team member based on Hong Kong region, I offer my collaboration and coordination with Global Teams is essential for providing support for Global Users. I supported the services include finance reporting tools for daily reporting utilizing MS SQL, SYBASE and Oracle database with web based front end tools as well as Microsoft Office products. All systems interact with Front Office and Back office systems as well as the General Ledger “CODA”. 3rd party products are also used for reporting purpose.

1. Service Delivery
Provide daily Technical Support for Finance Applications working closely with HSBC ITO teams in the UK and overseas to manage and coordinate the delivery of source data as well as technical updates for applications. Provide information and technical support for Product Controllers and Finance Users. Closely monitor server availability and activity to ensure optimum usage and performance. 2. Incident Management
Report on service availability, record and log incidents in a timely manner. Fire fighting with production issues, perform the fix or escalate issue to relevant parties based on priority and emergency. Communicate to IT and user community.
3. Change Implementation
Ensure change implementations follow best practice design standards in line with business requirements and bank technology standards.
Guide/corporate with business users and project team to raise/release the enhancement/hot fix on financial systems.
4. Compliance
Ensure that all server activities are conducted in compliance with group standards, security and audit regulations to include user, data and application interfaces. Ensure that all platforms have an approved and tested resilience and contingency solution manner that takes account of operational risk considerations

October 2010-March 2011: Stickerswall Ltd, London, UK Work as a service assistant in Stickerswall. Provide technical support for printing machine and relevant design/ manage applications to ensue production produced based on design correctly. Provide customer services and organize deliver schedule based on user requirement. Comprehensive capabilities have been trained during this employ experience. Furthermore, time management is the most important thing in the role. Due to small corporate size, work had to be done under high pressure and time limitation all the time.
