Direct and coordinate with: all the DCE's (Data Collection Engineers), Team Leads,
Project Supervisors, Project Managers, Directors, and Supervisors on all
inbound/outbound and operational/faulty equipment shipments to and from each
engineer's market(s).
Collect/analyze data/information in coordination with other inventory control associates
on: Inventory reconciliation, assessing costs on inventory replenishment, and
researching the purchase(s) of new/updated equipment and/or tools.
Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability,
supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, or
transportation.
Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as transportation costs, parts procurement,
back orders, or delivery processes.
Confer with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels,
maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost.
Remotely monitor the flow of vehicles or inventory, using Web-based logistics
information systems to track vehicles or containers.
Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
Apply analytic methods or tools to understand, predict, or control logistics operations or
processes.
Fleet Management Responsibilities:
Inspected all vehicles for safety & functionality that returned from their collection
markets
Coordinated more strenuous vehicle repairs with local and out of state facilities, while
making command decisions after researching and comparing parts cost against each
projects timeline(s)
Direct/coordinate a team of 60 Data Collectors and a fleet of 60 Data Collection
vehicles, in conjunction with the world wide contracts that we have with major cell phone
companies such as: Sprint/Nextel; Verizon; T-Mobile; AT&T; Alltel, etc.
Coordinate with: all the DCE's (Data Collection Engineers), QA's (Quality Assurance),
Team Leads, Project Supervisors, Project Managers, and multiple agencies across the
entire U.S. about unforeseen issues, and to schedule vehicle preventative and
suggested maintenance so that it does not interfere with the deadlines of the contracts
that the company acquires.
Integrate risk management, critical thinking, business strategies, and productivity in
weekly project support meetings, and daily decision making processes.
Coordinate with all department heads on being programmatic with the logistics of certain
products and vehicle maintenance appointments for all DCE's at the beginning of each
quarter.
Generate weekly project and vehicle maintenance analysis reports, in conjunction with
scheduling vehicles for repair/service.
