Baseball Helmet Design Project Fall 2013
Designed an impact testing system to determine a baseball helmet material by simulating a ball hitting a pitcher’s helmet within a $200 budget.
Managed the development of the 2 prototypes for the impact and sensor systems by facilitating meetings, reporting project status at stand up meetings, and writing final report.
Tested various materials, Collected and analyzed data using Labview and an accelerometer.
Presented findings and results to professors, classmates and non-technical audience.
UMBC Tractor Pull Project Spring 2013
Built a tractor with maximum weight of 5 lbs. that could compete in a sled pulling competition against 12 teams, inside a team of 4 within a $200 budget.
Led purchase request change from design change from team member.
Wrote the final reports and presented information to fellow classmates.
