October 2015-Present Deputy Project Manager

T1 Special Missions Group

Currently serving as a Deputy Project Manager, with oversight of large complex security operations both domestic and international. I assist the Project Manager with coordination and deployment of assets as well as direct involvement in logistics and procurement. I actively vet, and train our security specialists and perform a variety of duties relating to the recruitment and selection of personnel. I take a lead role during operations and advise the Project Manager regarding a formidable portfolio of options available to our team.

July 2013-September 2015 Quality Assurance/Quality Control

Express Energy Services

Served as the Service Quality Control Coordinator for the casing and rat hole service lines for a medium size oilfield services company. I am posted in Texas with responsibility for the Bryan, Bridgeport, Saginaw Kilgore and Elk City, OK districts.

I conduct in depth investigations into all failures resulting in lost rig time. I make recommendations which result in corrective and preventative actions in an effort to prevent future failures, utilizing the Bobby Jones modeling software system.

October 2012 – July 2013 Lead Instructor & Shift Leader

Served as the Lead Instructor for PSD training in Tripoli, Sabha and Awbari, Libya. The teams I trained and led, were assigned to the Official Libyan delegations visiting high threat oil field locations in southern Libya. Served as shift leader during all operations conducted in High Threat environments.

September 2010 – September 2011 Senior Training Coordinator

Training Coordinator for the Department of State World Personal Protection Services (WPS III) program. Managed the candidate training program for several hundred Baghdad Embassy Security Forces (BESF). I was also responsible for monitoring and ensuring contract compliance with all state department directives and requirements.

February 2007 – August 2010 International Security/Safety Manager

Equatorial Guinea West Africa

Security Manager for Noble Energy Inc., a Fortune 500 oil and gas exploration firm operating in Equatorial Guinea West Africa. Responsible for Personal Protection and Safety of all expatriate staff personnel assigned to the project. Due to the continuous threat of civil unrest; developed and implemented an Emergency Evacuation plan as well as designed safe havens at each expatriate office and housing site providing robust, defendable hard points containing life support systems and medical support trauma kits, staged in strategically sound locations. Managed the daily operations for 115 Local National security forces personnel. Provided oversight and training for local and expatriate staff in the use of safety equipment and basic safety procedures. Although operating in Africa, the company was required to conform with OSHA policy and procedure initiatives and reporting mandates. I also received certified training for FCPA.

March 2006 - February 2007 Project Manager

Bogota, Columbia

Project manager for Department of State training program in Bogota, Columbia, training third country nationals for deployment to high threat security positions worldwide. Trained hundreds of operators in secure package motorcade operations and the entire spectrum of high threat protection including intensive firearms instruction

March 2005- July 2006 Lead Instructor

USIS, Baghdad, Iraq

Primary instructor for Iraqi Bureau of Dignitary Protection. Trained hundreds of Arabic and Kurdish Nationals in firearms, driving, site and villa security, and personal protection for dignitaries and VIP’s. Personally trained President Jalal Talibani’s security detail as well as Vice President Matti and Prime Minister Maliki’s protection details.

Trained and mentored Iraqi police SWAT personnel focusing on hostage situations on buses. Trained and mentored Iraqi Police Emergency Response Unit teams focusing on raids for high value targets. Other responsibilities included the training of Iraqi personnel in basic police procedures

June 2004 – February 2005 Senior Ground Force advisor Frontier Corps

Dyncorp International, Quetta, Pakistan

Responsible for security of all U.S. personnel, facilities, and aircraft assigned to the Department of State Air Wing border security program. Implemented and recommended numerous security upgrades for personnel and critical assets. Invited by U.K. Tier 1 special operations forces to participate in anti-narcotics operations in conjunction with Pakistani National Police narcotics units. Stood up and trained 2 platoons of Pakistani rapid interdiction troops in support of national objectives in the border region. Developed an emergency extraction/evacuation plan for all expatriate personnel in the vicinity including U.K. SOF team members, in the event of war with India or other armed civil unrest. Assisted U.S. Federal Law Enforcement instructors training Pakistani Police Units in Baluchistan Province, and supported department of state diplomatic security detail (DSS) for visiting U.S. officials including the U.S. Ambassador’s visit to Quetta.

June 2003 – May 2004 Team Leader

Baghdad, Iraq

Member of personal security detail for U.S. Ambassador Paul Bremer. Managed and trained team responsible for security of Ambassador's villa. Led and trained airborne (helicopter) counter-sniper team supporting all secure package movements, as well as counter-sniper support for other U.S. government agencies in conjunction with classified operations. Member of Ambassador's close protection detail and primary ring of security.

Served with the Criminal Gang Profiling and Classification Department. Extensive coordination with local, state and federal agencies tracking and classifying various high threat offenders. Provided personal security during movements for a number of high profile defendants during criminal proceedings in both District and Federal Courts.
