Summary
In July 2010 I began my summer job at Baby Einstein Learning Center when that ended. I focused on getting my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. While focusing on getting my Degree I decided to become a personal nanny for my family. So far I have been a personal nanny to four different households. For my cousin Erica I watch both of her sons until it was time for them to start school and off and on ever since. For my other cousin Brittany I have been helping her out by watch her son and daughter since they were infants and they are now three and four years old. For my Aunt Felicia I watched her daughter Imani took her to school, pick up her from school, and watched her on the weekends. for my aunt Cilla I was her on call nanny so I watched all three of her children on weekends and throughout the week. Lastly, I volunteer at Lil People’s Fun Summer Camp where I was one of the three head counselors. I was in charge of children ages 7 to 9. My job was to make sure that my students ate at least two meals a day, that they area was clean and that each child is sign-in for the day. After each child was signed-in I had to make sure that each child did a book report before breakfast. After breakfast was finished I gave the children another activity to do and then I allow them to play all the way up to lunch time. After lunch time was over me and another head counselor took the students outside to play. After the children came from outside they receive a snack and something to drink. Once the children finish their snacks they play until it was time to go home.
