Resume:

HR Representative:

Thank You for taking the time to review my resume and consider me for the possibilities available with your firm. I am very interested in said employment opportunities, as well as other positions for which I am qualified. As you will see from my attached resume I have a background in many areas relating to production environments and related application of information technology. I have enjoyed success in all of these and now look to apply my experience to your tasks if given the chance to participate. Though my degrees are in Electrical Engineering (with Utilities, Power Generation / Transmission, and Power Electronics focus) and Physics / Mathematics I have maintained a good base in technology and computing fields. I keep abreast of developments that relate to my interests and experience. This has allowed me to participate and contribute in a wide variety of ways wherever I have found myself.

I have continued to build upon this base as developments in design and customization continued through today. Moreover, I have been blessed with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, technologies, and ways of doing business. This has made me able to work effectively in many fields outside of my core training. Furthermore, I bring to all assignments the desire and capability to meet my customers’ individual needs through customization of product offerings to create systems of lasting value. As a station engineer and afterward when supporting stations from corporate I have been an early adopter of Information Technology (IT). First as a user and later as a developer, application scout, and systems integrator I have utilized IT to meet the needs of my customers while still keeping an eye on company return on investment. Concurrently I have been responsible for various aspects of a production environment, operations, maintenance and upgrades. I have been successful in taking applications and systems and applying them successfully to other businesses through adaptation and customization. As an independent consultant, I have been keenly aware that the willingness to customize my services often made the difference between being chosen by the customer for a project or being left in the pack. I have designed and installed various systems over my career, and taken over, improved, updated, and passed-on other systems which I have encountered. I also have enjoyed troubleshooting although always working toward preventing these activities from becoming necessary. In various contexts I traveled in support of customer activities, and enjoyed the direct interaction with the clients as well as the opportunity to observe activities at various customer sites. Regardless of the setting, I looked forward to analyzing customer needs, business situations, and then finding or developing solutions with the customer that provide value and reflect favorably on the services of my company and myself. Additionally I have performed training for the users of systems I provided and supported. I have mentored younger engineers and analysts, perhaps enjoying this part of the job most of all. When allowed I have also spoken at or presented papers for many major industry conferences and technical forums on successful systems and installations of which I was a participant.

Please feel free to contact me directly should you have any questions. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Frank C. Borth, III
