Pharmacist
A private retail pharmacy where I play an integral part in running both the
retail and compounding departments on a weekly basis. My duties include
all the standard duties of a pharmacist, at which I excel . In addition to my
duties, you will regularly find me helping the clerks and technicians whenever
my work is caught up. I am very good at creating a positive work environment
for my auxiliary staff, and contribute as a team player. My specialty is in
bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, but I also have extensive
knowledge in compounding for pain management and veterinary medicine.
Furthermore, I have extensive experience and expertise in marketing directly
to prescribers. Additionally, I am always looking for new ways to improve
efficiency, organization and the overall experience of the customer.

Pharmacist
A private compounding pharmacy where I served as head pharmacist. I ran the front pharmacy, doing standard pharmacist duties,
as well as compounded medications for individual patients. Furthermore, I
gave one on one patient consultations on bio-identical hormone
replacement therapy, which is my specialty, and recommended specific
pharmaceutical therapy to the patient’s doctor. I attended numerous
conferences on all fields of pharmacy, with an emphasis on
pharmaceutical compounding and bio-identical hormone replacement

A private pharmacy where my responsibilities included typing and filling
prescriptions, as well as taking prescriptions over the phone. I also helped
answer questions phoned in by patients and doctors. Furthermore, I
participated in patient care and medication consultation. Whenever
necessary, I also did some compounding and helped resolve third

A private pharmacy where I entered patient, insurance, and prescription
information into the database. In addition, I helped the pharmacist both type and fill prescriptions, as well as to maintain drug inventory.
I was also responsible for compounding and verifying prescription refills. Furthermore, I was involved in resolving problems with third party reimbursements. Also, I performed some bookkeeping and was involved in customer relations.
UCLA Medical Center 1998-1999

My responsibilities included taking in and typing prescriptions at the front
counter, as well as verifying patient and insurance information. I was also
involved with filling the prescriptions and helping to maintain drug
inventory. In addition, I verified refills, took phone orders from patients,
and helped give out refills to patients at the pick up window. I performed these duties listed above at 4 different pharmacies on the UCLA campus, which included both inpatient and outpatient services.
