Project: Bank of America is expected to collect and maintain sufficient data to support Advanced - Internal Rating Based (A-IRB) systems. Purpose of the project was to ensure that the outsourced activities performed by external servicers, called LSBOs (Loans Serviced by others), are supported by sufficient data to meet IRB requirements. Bank of America worked with different servicers (servicing mortgage and consumer loans as well as servicing credit cards) for the bank to source and captures all essential data elements required to calculate credit risks and exposure over the life of the loan.
