Business administration courses designed to prepare students for management in the detention fields.

Colorada Technical University Online. MBA. (12/2011 - 11/2012). Human Resources. Business related courses designed for students to learn administration skills and how an organization flows for all employees. Group projects included working on the capsim business modules in order to learn the specifics in how each executive level employee contributes to tyhe organization as a whole. Studied management skills in order to demonstrate the different management styles that managers should possess. studied the various organization styles as well as prepared projects on designing the employee handbook. These classes were very in-depth and detailed on getting an organization/business to running smoothly involving all employees not just executive level employees. Employment:

East Carroll Parish Sheriffs Office: Deputy Sheriff. (/1985- 08/1985). Performed dispatch duties as needed for all emergency personel within the parish. Performed jailer duties as needed when required including traveling with other officers transporting food to and from other detention centers. Transported prisoners to other detention facilities. Performed body searches on female prisoners. Left job for a fulltime better position within a larger city. Internal Revenue Service: (09/1986 - 09/2008). Technical Taxpayer Representative/Customer Service. Performed customer service duties such as answered technical tax questions, completed both business and personal income tax returns, taught small business tax workshop to civilians interested in starting their own bussiness,and taught annual tax law changes classes to peers and new hires. Worked as a problem resolutions caseworker to help taxpayers resolve difficult tax situations that could not otherwise be resolved through processing at the service center in Austin by being assigned as a caseworker, acted as a liason with peers to work with the state employment office gathering tax information needed in order to process employment tax returns, performed necessary tax adjustments as needed, proofed other caseworkers cases and advised of necessary adjustments. verified and approved adjustments. performed both manual and computerized legal research and provided cites to taxp[ayers as required by law. advised of and ordered tax publications. made necessary referrals to the different service centers for adjustments. ordered tax returns as needed. Retired from position due to stroke.
