My last job I was in shipping and receiving my duties were to load and unload trucks both LTL and TL I did inventory I also took out scrap plus I took products from the machines and brought them to the packing department or put them into inventory I scheduled trucks for pickup both LTL and TL I worked closely with sales rep for the different truck companies to get a good discount if the products did not get to our customers on time I would call the sales rep and 95 percent of the time I would get the freight for free I did some packing of parts to be sent out via ups or FEDEX I also did some export getting ready the skids and making out the paperwork for customs
