Marketing Systems Engineer for mobile computing and networking opportunities. Responsible for system

configuration and implementation. Primary company interface for the HP retail product line.

Knowledgeable in mobile and wireless computing products focused on the Motorola brand and included

mobile POS. Billable projects included site surveys, on-site installation and RF network tuning.

Recommended fitting solutions, developed RFP responses, prepared lab environments and proof of concept demonstrations. Billable services included document preparation, installation and post-install support.

sale when client wanted an “other than an IBM” database solution.

Managed install teams up to 50 people in size. Scope ranged from upgrades to new location installs.

Retail Systems Development, Raleigh, NC. Communications and 3270 Emulation.

Level 2 Support for the 4680/4690 Operation Systems. Working with customers and IBM

developers to identify problems, assist with usage questions and follow through to final issue

resolution.

Creating and managing APARs when needed and was responsible for the code maintenance of

the 3270 Emulation feature of the 4690 Operation System.

3270 PC and AIX Software Team Leader, Boulder, CO. Software support lead for these two new products.

MVS, VM and Communications Software Support, Tampa, FL. Problem resolution, education

course development and presentation for these mainframe environments.

Program Support Representative, Indianapolis, IN. Software support for eight accounts.

This included programming support as well as software license management.

Hardware Customer Engineer, Indianapolis, IN. Support for up to 12 accounts. These included

hospitals, insurance and manufacturing companies. All accounts had 24/7 support.
