BEDSIDE EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT OF SPEECH AND LANGUAGE.

Hearing Aid Trial – Programming of various digital hearing aids; trimmer adjustments for analogue hearing aids; formal and informal hearing aid testing.

Administration of special tests like speech in Noise (SPIN), Tone Decay Test (TDT), Modified Short Increment Sensitivity Index (MSISI), Alternate Binaural Loudness Balance Test (ABLB), Hearing in noise test(HINT), Dichotic Digit test (DDT), Acoustic Reflex Decay(ARD) etc whenever necessary.

Assessment and diagnosis of pediatric population including Behavioral Observation Audiometry (BOA), Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA), Conditioned Play Audiometry.

Assessment and management of (central) auditory processing disorders(C) APD) and Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum disorders (ANSD).

Cochlear implant pre and post implant assessment, knowledge regarding mapping, hands on experience in management of clients with cochlear implant, Auditory training (auditory verbal therapy-AVT) and counseling of the same.

Rehabilitation of individuals with hearing impairment: Counseling, hearing aid selection, programming and trouble shooting of hearing aids; Auditory training, communication skill enhancement, speech reading.

Subjective calibration of the audiometers transducers, auditory evoked responses.
