Supervising other co-workers, as the “STL” site team lead, I also had been assigned as the Quality & Audit Rep on the complete installations, & turn-up, & testing of completed OC192’s, OC 48’s, OC 12’s, OC 3’s, endeavor finished before “K”date ahead of schedule with traffic on the lines. As of the upmost importance, first & foremost the Integerity of equiptment was the most important priority before I signed off on any Equiptment, M.O.P.’s, work orders, etc. To make sure the client was satisfied was the main concern.

The small replacement batteries that must be maintained & Changed out as scheduled. Run testing software on equipt. Such as VORTEC software for the optical carriers. Also the smaller of the OC family is the OPTERA METRO. I also wire-wrap, 110 blks, also punch-down for the alarms. Also before leaving the site I always make a videography of the jobs from start to finish. To see if theres any room for improvement.
