Client: Duke Energy October 2013 to till date

Role: Senior Siebel Developer

Project Description:

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Duke Energy owns 58,200 megawatts of base-load and peak generation in the United States, which it distributes to its 7.2 million customers. Almost all of Duke Energy's Midwest generation comes from coal, natural gas, or oil, while half of its Carolinas generation comes from its nuclear power plants . Duke Energy decides to implement CRM solutions using Siebel application for its customer.

Responsibilities:

Actively involved in analyzing requirement with client partners to better understand the business needs

Responsible for Siebel Configuration, design, development and on-time delivery of the solution.

Responsible for codes reviews and proper documentation

Resolved customer issues on-time and communicated the same to customers effectively.

Developed a new tool for batch job monitoring.

Created a work flow, new view to invoke and monitor multiple batch jobs, also added filter to process only relevant records and show the number of records processed, failed and the job invocation time in UI. The filter for different batch jobs can be changed from the UI without Siebel repository change. Thus reducing a huge amount of effort.

Wrote a macro to load data directly to siebel application and optimized the time taken for creating test-data

Project Description:

Starbucks implemented Trade Promotion Management using Siebel consumer goods Application. The Promotions and claims were captured in siebel to manage their sales data and to improve future sales for their products to the end customer. Project was implemented in agile methodology.

Responsibilities:

Worked as an offshore onsite-coordinator to maintain the delivery from the development side. Designed and customized siebel Workflows, which was used throughout the application

DWP (Department for Work and Pensions UK) is a platinum client for Accenture. This project started from 2005 and the application is running on Siebel public sector 7.7 under Health and Public Services domain. It maintains the list of customers who are eligible for pensions and resolves all the cases related to their pensions. It is in application maintenance phase and Accenture is responsible for resolving all the issues.

Responsibilities:

Checked port sniffer logs, XML requests and responses coming from external interfaces through integration backbones.

Project Description:

Etisalat the telecom giant of U.A.E was planning to launch the telecom sector in India, and for its operations it used Siebel Partner Management for the entire transactions of secondary, territory sales. They were also planning an incentive and commission program with Siebel Loyalty to provide their distributors, retailers etc of Etisalat commission and incentive upon reaching sales targets every month.

Responsibilities:

Team lead and single point of contact for siebel loyalty module

Was actively involved in requirement analysis phase with client partners to understand exact requirement and mapped them to design documentations.

Created commissioning and loyalty module designs including high level design and technical specification for entire Loyalty implementation.
