B.TECH:

MINOR PROJECT:

Project title: PORTABLE USB MP3 MEDIA PLAYER.

DESCRIPTION:

A USB host IC will be integrated with an IC that does MP3 decoding along with the user interface. The choice format for music files is MPEG 1 Audio layer 3(MP3).After decoding digital audio effects will be added to the signal. This MP3 player plays by storing MP3 on a USB Flash drive. Power and performance requirements for this system include supplying power to an external USB device and playing MP3s smoothly.

MAJOR PROJECT:

Project title: PREPAID ELECTRICITY BILL USING GSM.

DESCRIPTION:

In this system, a micro controller is interfaced with an energy metering circuit, keypad and a display, to display total units and balance amount, a contactor to make or break power line, and a buzzer indicator. At the sub-station end, a PC is connected with all energy meters using any communication channel. Automatically user can pay money and gets recharge code. The consumption data, card status and line status are transmitted to sub-station for auditing. With this system, we can determine the difference between the actual power consumed and sold power easily, can avoid power hefting.

M.TECH:

PROJECT: DESIGN AND SYNTHESIS OF I2C MASTER BUS CONTROLLER USING VERILOG.

DESCRIPTION:

It implements serial data communication using I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit) master bus controller. The I2C master bus controller was interfaced with MAXIM DS1307, which act as a slave. This module was designed in VERILOG HDL and simulated in Modelsim10.1c. The design was synthesized using Xilinx ISE Design Suite 12.1. I2C master initiates data transmission and in order slave responds to it. It can be used to interface low speed peripherals like motherboard, embedded system, mobile phones, set top boxes, DVD, PDA’s or other electronic devices.

Given Seminar on “System On Chip (SOC)” in workshop, conducted by GITAM UNIVERSITY.

Actively Participated in giving paper presentations and seminars.

Actively organized technical and non technical events in college.

Actively participated in Maths Olympiad Level.

Took many prizes in cultural, sports and essay writing competitions in school level.
