I write in response to your advertisement seeking an experienced Trainee Train Assistant
Traineeship. As a highly competent individual, i am the right person for this post because I
would bring an applicable experience and a hard working attitude to this role.
I have worked at Independent Newspapers KZN where I started as an apprentice back on the
1st of April 2009 and qualifying as a Lithographic Web offset Printer in December 2013 until I
was retrenched on the 30th of September 2014. In that role I maintained a neat and productive
work environment and i have gained so much experience working with modern machines on
an on time fast paced newspaper producing industry.
I am a proactive organised and quality conscious person with problem solving skills and work
well in a team. I have passion for producing work that exceed expectations, pay good attention
to detail and learn new procedures quickly. I also excel at following printing specifications
(blueprints) according to customer’s expectations, maintaining workflow and keeping
equipment operating smoothly.
