Currently in this position i am reading or writing station number and reading in notebook. Mark points of measurement with elevation, station number, or other identifying mark also measuring points with keel, paint sticks, scratches, tacks, or stakes. Places stakes at designated points and drive them into ground at specified elevation, using hammer or hatchet. Also perform duties as directed by party chief such and putting points in the ground as well as blue topping.

Duties included, running and directing field crew, analyzing field data, making preliminary boundary decisions. Performing field calaculations and keep field notes and records. Establish property lines and grades for new streets and other improvements. Reviewss plans and specifications related to surveying. Ensure that the survey party observes departmental safety rules and regulations. Conducts land surveys to determine right of way lines, boundary lines, location of easements and encroachments.
