Test Lead (Onshore)
Responsibilities
Working as a Test Lead of a 5 member team.
Involved in collaborating with clients from the requirement definition stage, analyzing testing scope and building QA strategy for testing process
Review BRD and identify technology, resources and timeline estimates
Review Mapping documents and data discovery documents to identify scope of testing
Conduct Review calls with offshore team to explain functionality and mapping document design for the pertaining release
Create SQL queries and review queries created by the offshore team for testing.
Prepare test plans and test scripts for execution
Reviewed prepared test plans and test execution documents and provide peer review comments
Track daily execution progress, collect cumulative results from team and report them on a daily basis to development, business and project management teams
Track the status of defects logged for initiatives and also follow-up with developers on getting defects fixed.
