CAREER STATEMENT

A state topper in Matriculation examination, I hold an excellent academic record. In addition to being actively involved in college co- curricular activities, I was also the lady representative and the first lady president of Assam Medical College and hospital Students Union which was a feat in the 60 years of the college history.

I took up Biochemistry as a career choice due to my interest in the subject owing to its immense research potential and its aid to the clinicians in patient diagnosis and management.

OTHER INTERESTS

I have a keen interest in debates, having represented my School and Medical College in the various debating competitions; being the winner at multiple debating competitions like Parag Das Memorial inter-college debating competition at Cotton College, Guwahati, Manik Chandra Baruah Memorial inter-state debating competition etc. I stood first in the all India level inter-school elocution competition of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. I enjoy doing theatre and was a part of school and college’s dramatics society. I am an avid reader and enjoy watching movies. I love to travel, meeting people and share experiences.
