Projects:

Cardinal Egan/O’Connor Pavilions, NYC. Renovation of 2 Heating/Cooling plants and preparation for an addition of increased space for this clergy retirement home. Coordinated pre-purchased equipment and buy out of sub-contractors.

Sugar Hill Museum, NYC. Mechanical fit of a new children’s museum including a complete heating/cooling/humidification system. Coordinated buy out of all sub-contractors. Coordinated equipment and piping installations to minimize the effect on architectural features showcased within.

60 East 86th Street, NYC. New luxury residential building. Includes new water source heating pump/ VRF system allowing simultaneous heating and cooling within the same apartment, amenities space, gym, wine cellar and emergency generator. Worked with team on buy out of all mechanical trades and interior fittings. Managed contractors and draftsmen in coordination of mechanical equipment.

NYU Langone Medical Center, NYC. Renovation of an existing 45,000 square foot laboratory space in downtown NYC. Supervised the installation of new Heating and Cooling Systems. Directed the re-commissioning of existing air conditioning equipment for the owners use. Coordinated all shut downs for required trades. Managed inspections for Firestopping, equipment conformance and testing of piping and duct system. Representative for the owners commissioning team. Supervised demolition and reinstallation of laboratory exhaust system within an unused elevator shaft.

The EDGE, Brooklyn, New York – Four-Building Construction Project, consisting of 2 low-rise apartment buildings and 2 luxury residential condominium towers built under U.S. Green Building Council LEED guidelines. Provided pre-construction review of all contract documents for value engineering, cost reduction, and errors or omissions which would result in future change orders and developed and coordinated shop drawings with contractors to show all trade equipment, re-routed piping, ductwork, etc to avoid conflicts. Oversaw and directed the efficient installation of all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and sprinkler systems and redesigned equipment when equipment was improperly fabricated. Served as a direct key liaison for all contracts with a variety of large utility service providers, including gas, electric, sewer, water, cable television, and fiber-optic telephone systems for the facility.

ü Established LEED innovation points by recycling foundation ground water removal for site dust control which saved valuable potable water and reduced environmental impacts.

325 5th Avenue, New York City, New York – Served as the Resident Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Superintendent for the construction of a new 50-story luxury condominium project in midtown Manhattan. Controlled and coordinated mechanical-related trades, including the installation, startup, testing, and commissioning of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, alarm, & sprinkler systems. Facilitated and conducted training programs for building staff in the use and maintenance of systems.

90 West Street, New York City, NY, MEP Superintendent for the restoration, renovation and conversion of this landmark building heavily damaged on September 11, 2001, from office space to residential apartments. Coordinated all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing trade drawings, as well as managing all HVAC, electrical and plumbing installation activities.
