Involved in ventral layout of the coal crusher management and supervision of various operation involved in inspection of the material used, checking the proper tolerance limit and measurement of steel reinforcements. Management of time and scheduling of the operation.

Keeping proper check and control on the material supply management chain. Keeping the resources availability for operation required.

Keeping the update of the daily bases work and routing the updated to higher managerial authorities for feedback.

Title: Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) of AISI P20 Tool Die Steels

The effects of ‘Pulse on Time’ and ‘Current’ on the efficiency of EDM were experimentally studied on Tool Steel AISI P20

Statistical techniques ANOVA and TAGUCHI were used to derive the significant factors and optimum values

‘Pulse on Time’ was found to be the most important factor to improve Material Removal Rate & to reduce Tool Wear & Surface Roughness

Bharat Pumps & Compressors May-June 2012(4 weeks)

Summer Training at Bharat Pumps & Compressors Ltd. under the guidance of P.K. Sharma related to general information of thermal fluid machinery.

Analysis training of various fluid pumps their working and design parameters. The various protocols on which pumps are set to remove various losses and operational or functional failure.

Integrated learning of design and manufacturing of pumps by various metal cutting processes.

Tata Motors July 2012(4 weeks)

Summer Training at Tata Motors Ltd. under the guidance of Sushant K. Pandey related to the Force Draft Ventilation (F.D.V)

Complete Inspection of the Heat treatment, Gear shop & frame workshop for monitoring the diffusers capacity which in turn maintain the air temperature in the comfort zone for the workforce or bring it down to ambient temperature of work.

The airflow discharges though the main diffusers were to be calculated along with individual diffusers that were installed in the particular workshop section and hence the delivery efficiency was calculated.

The Ideas and measures were given to remove the unwanted diffusers to direct the maximum airflow to the section.
