Description:

Software Package Release management is about managing the process of building, packaging and distributing software for consumption. The source codes for the open source products are freely available and developed in an open manner. After collecting the client requirements, the software are edited, rebuild and released to suite the client needs.

Responsibilities:

Check for the new releases of Apache, OpenSSL, Mod_security software packages and do their compatibility analysis.

Make the build systems (RHEL, SuSE and Solaris) up-to-date and setup build environment.

Make the required changes, build and test the packages.

Troubleshoot problems occurring at build time or during testing.

Create test suits and test cases for all the packages.

Add a checksum for the packages.

Automate build task using scripts.

Build dependency packages as required.

Project 2: CISS (Solution Showcase for Converged Infrastructure)

Description:

HP Converged Infrastructure virtualizes all heterogeneous resources: server, storage, networking, and I/O. Virtualization separates the applications, data, and network connections from the underlying hardware, making it easier and faster to reallocate resources to match the changing needs of individual applications. HP Converged Infrastructure integrates a rich set of technologies into a seamless, standards-based infrastructure. Solution Showcase for Converged Infrastructure consists of environments that sales, pre-sales engineers and consultants use to run demo scenarios to familiarize the infrastructure and various software and hardware products used in it to the customers.

Responsibilities:

Datacenter Infrastructure Management/Administration.

Installation, configuration and maintenance of various software components (HP/non HP) used in the infrastructure.

Description:

The Server Administration means designing, installing, administering, and optimizing company servers and related components to achieve high performance of the various business applications supported by tuning the servers as necessary. This includes ensuring the availability of client/server applications, configuring all new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment.

Responsibilities:

Remote Server Administration and Troubleshooting in Linux and windows for various web hosting companies

Delivered quality customer support with 30 minutes response time and 5 Hours resolution time for Technical issues reported by clients/end customers.
