Projects Implemented in M.Sc. and B.Sc.
• AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY LIGHT
This was a hardware based project in which an emergency light was constructed using a printed circuit board. The project worked on the principle that whenever the power went off the light would glow. This was done using passive and active electronic components. The main components used were transformer (220V ac), 6V 4.5 ah battery and lm 317 regulator.
• SEQUENCE DETECTOR
A sequence detector was designed which detected the given binary sequence from predefined input sequence. It was designed by constantly comparing the input stream with the given sequence.
Programming Language: VHDL
TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED WATER BATH
This project was implemented using LM35 (temperature sensor). The sensor controlled the temperature monitoring it with the surrounding temperature and would switch off once the temperature of the water bath exceeded the surrounding temperature.
Programming Language: EMBEDDED C
Platform: MPLAB IDE
COMPILER: Hitech C
DEBUGGER: PIC KIT 2 DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMER
