Having design experience in Single phase & three phase transformers of Distribution, power and special applications ranging from 10kVA to 25 MVA, Voltage classes up to 66kV and trained for Power Transformers up to 100MVA, Voltage class up to 132kV with different tap changer arrangements like Linear, Coarse-fine & Reversing tap switch arrangements

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading design section in the absence of department head and working as a team to get productive and timely outputs by creating friendly environment as a team member & team lead

Reading technical specifications and preparing, compliance statement, list of key points effecting to electrical and mechanical design & preparing guaranteed technical data sheets for customer submittals

Communicating with customer to obtain required clarifications of the technical specification & Approvals of work orders documents to proceed further design activities

Preparing technical specifications, selecting suitable materials for transformer components meeting with customer specifications and preparing advance list of materials against work orders for purchase purpose

Preparing designs with necessary electrical, mechanical and thermal & dynamic ability to withstand short circuit forces calculations for work order designs and specific technical calculations required by customer

Providing guidance to mechanical team to obtain required drawings & component document details against tenders, enquiries, customer approvals and for production details for work orders

Preparing Bill of materials & production documents as per the organizational requirements in compliance with ISO systems

Preparing Testing schedules & procedures for work orders

Updating the systems and procedures based on the feedback received from the production & testing departments

Attending the assembly line problems for achieving the periodic production targets, and reviewing of existing processes and re-designing the same for enhancing operational efficiency and achieving maximum cost savings.
