Front-End Developer/Project Coordinator, LexBlog, Inc., Seattle, September 2011-September 2013; November 2014-September 2015

Handled hundreds of projects (WordPress blogs and websites) throughout various phases of their life cycles from setup, strategy, scheduling, development QA, CSS/HTML edits, content population/editing, to post-launch maintenance. I played a key role in the launch of several large-scale projects, helped the company reach record highs in monthly launches, as well as greatly reduced overhead by researching/testing/implementing various methods to increase efficiency.

Web Editor, Montana Kaimin, Missoula, August 2008-May 2009; May 2010-May 2011

Redesigned, updated web site for student newspaper. I was also instrumental in making regular multimedia packages a priority, as well as connecting the site to social media.

Arts/Outdoors Editor, Montana Kaimin, Missoula, August 2009-May 2010

Assigned, copy edited stories and designed section layout. I managed a staff of five writers, and required weekly feature spreads and in-depth coverage of campus and local arts/outdoors events.

Reporting Intern, Missoulian Newspaper, Missoula, June-August 2009

General assignment reporter on city beat. I had five front-page stories and numerous above-the-fold clips in the local section. During one particularly busy week, I wrote 11 articles in four days.

Lead guitarist and vocalist for several bands, including Seattle-based Lowlands and Temple Canyon, whose music can be found on Spotify, Pandora and Bandcamp.

Co-wrote, edited, designed and sold "College Cook-In," a recipe book for college dorm residents.

Montana Newspaper Association Dean Stone Award Awarded to one UM journalism student per year, in recognition of achievement and outstanding performance.
