Over 23 years in the Aerospace Industry as a Tool Liaison / Toolmaker - Jig & Fixture / Millwright. A working knowledge of all shop machinery needed to perform most Tooling task in a timely manner. Currently certified on both the Faro and Leica Laser Tracker measurement systems, utilizing VeriSurf Model Based software, and 3D Scanning utilizing Polyworks Metrology Software. Familiar with Unigraphics and Catia design software programs and their related applications. In recent years I have utilized my shop experience, and my ability to troubleshoot manufacturing /engineering problems, to perform in a Tool Liaison / M.E. capacity on various complex programs. My experience on Military and Commercial programs for various Aircraft Manufacturing Companies has exposed me to a wide range of Engineering, Tooling, Quality and manufacturing procedures and processes. A keen understanding of aircraft design and manufacturing, in addition to my ability to work in a team environment, has allowed me to perform at a level of professionalism respected by previous employers.

Fabricate major Tooling to support the UH1-Y Cabin program in tandem with Bell Helicopter, and build and maintain Tooling /Assy Jigs on the Boeing CH47 program.

LASER TRACKER - METROLOGY TECH.

Provide Laser Tracker support in the inspection of wing spars on the Cessna CJ4. Provide Laser support for the inspection of stringer/longeron for the 747-8 program. 3D scanning and model defined inspection process utilizing Verisurf and Polyworks metrology software.

TOOLING LIAISON / MANUFACTURING ENG. (Contract Hire)

Provide Tooling Liaison support for Outside Tooling Vendor during the fabrication of the Cabin Splice / Final Assy Tool on the UH1-Y Cabin Program. Coordinated the transfer of, and subsequent set-up of the entire family of Sub Assy tools in the Cabin Build Up. Worked closely with the prime contractor (BELL) on all Engineering / Tooling conflicts. Investigated and answered Corrective Action Request in an effort to comply with all DCMA requirements. Provided M.E And Tooling Support during final assy.

TOOLING LIAISON / LASER TRACKER LEAD.

Provided Tool Liaison support for the fabrication of several major Tooling projects on the C-17 Globemaster III Program.

Assisted in measurement analysis and provided practical support and direction to resolve manufacturing issues as they developed. Provided Laser measurement / millwright services in the Steel Industry, and Laser Alignment services in the Paper Mill Industry.

techniques implemented on this program were on the cutting edge of the Welding Technology Industry.
