Receiving tender documents from prospective clients prepare letter of interest or acknowledge the invitation.

Prepare technical, commercial and contractual queries and generate requests for clarifications (RFC) to the client or to the consultant and follow with them.

Respond to vendors and sub-contractors pre bid queries. Estimate manpower, plant and equipment and site facilities requirements. Negotiate with the suppliers and subcontractors and secure the better price from them. Experience as Sub-Station Operator at 66 KV Sub-Station of KSEB (Kerala State Electricity Board),Anchal.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Balancing load and transmission of power to the feeding stations and consumers without causing any interruptions at peak hours by switching and control of 66/11 KV Transmission lines and related instruments with providing of load shedding if necessary.

Controls & Maintain equipment’s, such as current converters, voltage transformers, and circuit breakers that regulate flow of electricity through substation of electric power system and over head distribution lines to consumers.

Communicates with Load Dispatch Centre to report amount of electricity received into substation, and to receive switching instructions and report fault and fault locations from relay panels.

Able to follow detailed oral and written operating instructions. Execute routine and emergency operating orders. Read indicating meters and instruments. Recognize abnormal conditions and describe them coherently. Draw and interpret system diagrams. Maintain logs, records and reports.

Inspection of equipments, such as transformers, pumps, fans, batteries, and circuit breakers to detect defects and indications of line disturbances, such as grounded, shorted, or open circuits.
