Experienced Maintenance Operator/Operator Technician with the ability to independently run multiple unit operating systems. I have the ability to independently run multiple jobs and oversee multiple projects. I have been responsible for employee training in everyday activities, lockout tag out, procedure usage and duties required during unit start up, shutdown and normal operation. I am currently an acting Supervisor for Entergy Corp. I fill in anywhere from 8-10 weeks due to vacations and special assignments.

While acting as Diversity Liaison for the Entergy Corp. Michoud plant I have to remain in constant communication with my team members as well as the senior leaders.

My role and responsibilities at Entergy Corp. include the safe and efficient operations of two megawatt producing steam driven units. I operate, monitor, and manipulate equipment from a personnel restricted control room operator’s station. I manage and direct unit shutdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure hourly rounds on outside equipment are performed by my outside Maintenance Operators. I control and drive the equipment lockout/tagout process.
