JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Check the quality parameters of RM, In process and FG samples and release the results as per the sampling plans and specifications.

In process development activities like to change the solvent ratio or to change the solvent and to increase the yield.

Spice analysis: oleoresin analysis like marigold, piperine, colour value & capcaicin of chilly, moisture, Total ash, volatile oil, Non volatile ether extract, Edible common salt, Lead Chromate test. Etc.

Trial works in black tea decaffeination and analysis of ingredients in black tea- Theaflavin and Caffeine

Water & analysis :PH, TDS, Total hardness, Total alkalinity, Ca, Mg, Fe, Chloride

Oil and fat: Acid value, free fatty acid, mineral oil, Saponification test, Iodine value, Peroxide value, Refractive index, Racidity test.

Tea Analysis: Caffeine, Theoflavin, Crude fiber, water extract, Total ash, Water soluble ash, acid insoluble ash, Iron fillings, Tannic acid alkalinity.

Milk and milk products analysis: total fatty matter, solid non fat, salt in butter, formaldehyde,starch, hydrogen peroxide, cane sugar, carbonates.
