GreenStar R& D is a Toshiba Group company which design and manufacture highly advanced, eco-friendly, and cost-saving light emitting diode (LED) lighting systems to municipalities and commercial businesses around the world.

Role and responsibility: at GreenStar R& D

Design review Stage 1:

My role:

Material selection,

Deciding manufacturing process

Cross functional activity with industrial designer, optical team and electrical team in terms of design profile, led selection, driver selection.

Coordinating with project management team and manufacturer for initial costing and time line.

Design review Stage 2:

My role: In design activities

Preparation of 3D models,

Performing design for manufacturability analysis (tolerance stack up analysis, draft analysis, thickness analysis, interference detection test)

Creating the assembly

Creating 2D drawings

My role: In analysis activities

Performing static analysis

Performing vibration analysis with respect to requirement as per ANSI C136.31 (3G,4G etc.)

Performing CFD analysis with respect to Thermal In-Situ as per ANSI/UL 1598-2004
