2010 - February 2015, BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services. Engineering Technologist Sr. Prin. Performed development of Systems Engineering and Electrical Interface Coordination Documents for System Integration of the SSBN Replacement Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) Weapon Systems. Provided direction in analyzing, resolving and recommending solutions to technical problems associated with the development of the SSBN Replacement Trident II SWS; the preparing and presenting technical reports and position papers. Provided guidance in preparation of system-level documentation to specify design and operational requirements. Frequently required to liaison with various contractors to resolve technical discrepancies to coordinate design/procedural reviews for the Strategic Systems SSBN Replacement Program. In addition, provided direction for performing Systems Engineering and Electrical Interface Coordination for the NWS/INWSS Program and US/UK TRIDENT II SWS Support Facilities. Directed engineering support and systems evaluation required for the implementation of a Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Consolidated Support Ship (CSS) Program (USNS WATERS) and the development of OD 62631 which defines the CSS Mission Requirements. Also responsible for the preparation and maintenance update of electrical coordination drawings for the SSP CSS and for US and UK SWS Support Facilities to include Bangor and Kings Bay Explosive Handling Wharfs, Eastern Test Range TRIDENT II Facilities, TRIDENT II Refit Facilities and the UK Explosive Handling Jetty. Supervised coordinate the review of US and UK shipyard drawings, NAVEL SEA SYSTEMS Interface Control Drawings (ICD) and SSP Shorebased Interface Requirements Drawings to implement any impact to coordination drawings. While at the same time directing engineering support relative to the US and UK CAPE, OCRP, FOJCR and FTPI programs.

In addition, Directed SWS Ship Engineering and Planning/Monitoring for SWS Launch Area Support Ship (LASS) employment plans that scheduled pier side and dry docking availability’s. To included analyzing and recommending solutions to technical problems associated to the USNS RANGE SENTINE LASS system repairs required to support operational periods; preparing and presenting technical reports and position papers. Frequency required to liaison with the various SSP Technical branches to resolve technical and work item discrepancies to LASS work package reviews. While at the same time providing guidance for support associated with SSP SWS Launch Area Support Equipment and Systems required to support the SWS Demonstration and Shakedown Operations, and Follow-on Commander-in-Chief Evaluation Test’s program. Supervised Inactivation Engineering and Planning/ Monitoring for the removal of SSP assets from the USS HOLLAND, THE USS SIMONLAKE, the USS CANOPUS, the USNS MARSHFIELD, the USNS VEGA, the USNS POINT LOMA, and the USNS RANGE SENTINEL. This task required the preparation of documentation to provide the planning agencies with a concise; organized compilation of work items approved by the Strategic Systems Programs for accomplishment by SSP Contractor Representatives, Ship’s Force, and/or Shipyard personnel. Responsibilities also included providing same type of support associated with the SSP surface ships programs. Participated in the performance of the combined LASS/NTV Support Ship Feasibility study for SSP.

1987 - 1989, BAE Systems, Senior. Engineering Technologist. Supervised a section in the System Engineering and Electrical Interface Coordination for System Integration of Space and Naval Warfare System Command Systems. Responsibilities included supervision of a section performing analysis, resolution and making recommendations to technical problems associated with the development of Warfare Systems Controlled Interface Documents; preparing and presenting technical reports and position papers. The preparation of system-level documentation to specify design and operational requirements. Frequently required to direct the liaison with various contractors to resolve technical discrepancies to coordinate design/ procedural reviews for the Space and Naval Warfare System Command.

Participated in writing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Officer's Guides (OG) for the Polaris, Poseidon, Trident I Backfit and Trident I Weapons Systems. This task included circuit and software analysis, design research and logistics support reviews to specifically define the scope and content of the SOP and OG material These procedures address a mixture of mechanical, electrical, computer and administrative operations and are written with nuclear, personnel and equipment safety being paramount. Military Experience:

1978 - 1980, U.S. Navy, Assistant Operational Test Director for Strategic Weapons/ Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9), Operational Test and Evaluation Force, Norfolk, VA. Observed contractor and developing agency testing and monitored corrective actions to provide independent assessment of the Trident Strategic Weapon System to the Chief of Naval Operations.

1978 - 1978, U.S. Navy, Division Officer/ Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9), Weapons Quality Assurance Division, USS HUNLEY (AS-31). Supervised 13 men in the performance of Weapon Quality Assurance functions and ensured that nuclear weapon safety procedures were observed during all nuclear weapons operations performed onboard the USS HUNLEY (AS-31).

1976 - 1978, U.S. Navy, Administrative Assistant to the Weapons Officer, Fire Control Division and Missile/ Launcher Division Senior Chief Petty Officer (E-8), USS VON STEUBEN (SSBN 632) (Blue). Directed 20 men in the performance of refitting, upkeep and maintenance of the Missile Control Center and the Missile Compartment on a Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarine. Assisted the Weapons Officer in the performance of administrative matters pertaining to the Weapon Department.

1968 - 1973, U.S. Navy, Leading Chief Petty Officer (E-7), Fleet Ballistic Missile Department, Maintenance Branch, U.S. Naval Guided Missiles School, Dam Neck, VA. Supervised 10 Naval personnel and groups of civilian contractors in the maintenance and alterations performed on Polaris and Poseidon training missiles, test equipment and associated components. Coordinated training functions as laboratory supervisor in Polaris and Poseidon Missile training area.

1962 - 1968, U.S. Navy, Fleet Ballistic Missile Ship, Leading Petty Officer (E-6), USS HOLLAND (AS-32). Coordinated the receipt, transfer, testing and maintenance of Polaris Missiles and missile components. Directed the maintenance of the MTRE (Missile Test and Readiness Equipment).
