TITLE: FAULT TOLERANCE AND SECURITY FOR THE POWER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM CONFIGURATION WITH FACT DEVICES

DESCRIPTION:The main of this project is to find the fault tolerance and security for power transmission system by using one of the fact devices called DSTATCOM.

DSTATCOM stands for distribution static synchronous compensator which is going to connect at secondary of transmission (or) input to distribution line.

Dstatcom is one of the part of fact devices

FACT DEVICES stands for flexible AC transmission of system

In general we will face some power loss while in transmitting energy from generating station to load

By connecting this FACT device in primary of distribution end it will be able to utilize maximum power supplied by generating station

If connected to inductive load it injects reactive power to circuit

If connected to capacitive load it absorbs reactive power from circuit

Execution of plant operations and trouble shooting.
