Work Experience
• January 2015 - Present - Freelance Maritime Security Operator working for various companies providing Security for Vessels transiting through high risk areas of water subject to piracy related incidents. Also teaching individuals new to the industry the MSO (Maritime Security Officer) Course via Horizon Security Solutions based in Scotland.
• January 2008 - January 2015 - Freelance Security Personnel working mainly out in Iraq as a Close Protection Officer for multiple companies including 2 years on the Primary Security Team for a United States Army 2 Star General. During this time i worked my way up from Operator to Second in command, Team medic and eventually Team Leader. Also during this time i had a short spell in 2011 working in Maritime before going back to Iraq, then again in 2014 i spent 3 months working in Nigeria as a Maritime Security Liaison Officer between the Nigerian Marine Police and the ships Captain/Crew.
• Royal Marines Commando February 2003 - March 2007 - Completed 30 weeks training at CTCRM (Commando Training Centre Royal Marines) before moving onto 45 Commando Royal Marines. Once arriving at 45 Commando i immediately deployed on Operations to Northern Ireland for 6 months. I then moved to FPGRM
(Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines) until my honourable discharge from the Royal Marines.
• Bricklayer August 1997 - January 2003 - Left school and started a Modern Apprenticeship as a Bricklayer. I spent 4 years serving my Apprenticeship before going freelance and worked for 2 years self employed before my transition into the Royal Marines.
