Extensive experience in creating and implementing new processes and procedures with a proven ability to administrate; ISO9001:2008, ANSI, API, ASME, ASTM, ATEX, DOD, EFQM, NBQP, UL, API and PED/CE marking for the European directive. Attained registration covering Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Training Centers for the USA headquarters of an international company with TÜV SÜD America. Acquired Canadian CSA/CRN approvals and ASME plant certifications through The National Board. (ASME stamps V, UV & VR)

Lead, developed, and audited the requirements necessary for Suppliers, Customers and regulatory certifications both domestic and international.

In-process NDT/testing, quality control audits of material, tooling, calibration and test equipment for root cause analysis and corrective action in a lean manufacturing and team environment.

Incorporated a computer-aided gauge tracking database system and in-house gauge calibration.

Developed and implemented a network based quality management system for all Quality Management documentation for new start-up three divisions to include value stream/process mapping as a basis.

Initiated statistical process control tracking of key process indicators significantly reducing; Scrap, Customer returns, Suppliers cost of acquisition & excellence program, Six Sigma process control sigma first pass yield and numerous other key business processes.

Responsibility for maintenance of processes, procedures, and policies required for industry & international quality regulations and the application into manufacturing activities.

Understanding and experience in lean manufacturing operations, new product development and implementation, process qualification, cost reduction, 5S/6S, Theory Of Constraints (TOC), Demand Flow Technology (DFT), quality engineering with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Knowledge and experience in metalworking including CNC machining, castings, forgings and stampings, carbide metal processing.

Industrial Steam Valve & Flow Controls Manufacture Title: Quality Manager

Responsible for the quality assurance, control, calibration & product warranty of a USA headquarters and manufacturing facility of an international valve company.

Accountable for development & maintenance of processes, procedures, and policies required for industry and international quality regulations and their application into lean & team based manufacturing activities.

ISO9001 registration and CE marking (PED), ASME V, UV and National Board VR stamp certifications.

Customer returns reflect a dramatic reduction and currently account for only 0.08% of net sales.

Incorporated a network based quality management system, value stream mapping, advance product quality planning for new product introduction and an in-house gauge calibration system among others.
