Primary function was to visually and physically patrol and inspect client’s property to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, terrorism, and illegal activity. Work involves assessing problem situations and exercising tact and judgment in bringing about resolution. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized individuals, or unusual occurrences. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. Work cooperatively and courteously with clients, employees and visitors. Use CCTV and other forms of video monitoring to include monitoring of fire and security alarms.
