Govind Development LLC, Pipeline/Process Engineer Jan’14 – Present

Provide engineering support for Pipeline Integrity Projects including wall thickness calculations, material selections, review and approval of piping and equipments designs complying with applicable specifications.

Provide technical support for project preparation, process simulation and for plant operations including data based analysis of manufacturing process, cost estimation and quality assurance in order to meet company goals.

RESEARCH AND PROJECTS

Comparison of DCA method to predict well performance in EFS Jan’15 – Aug’15

Analyzed 33 oil and gas well’s production from Eagle Ford Shale (EFS) formation in Zavala and Frio County and created a base ma using Oil Field Manager (OFM).

Implementation and comparison done for four Decline curve methods such as Arps Hyperbolic, Power law, Duong’s and Logistic growth models on EFS formation.

Prediction of future production profile for all 33 wells from both Zavala and Frio County in EFS up to next 5 years.

Proposed a suitable method for Zavala and Frio County based on Estimated Ultimate Recovery, goodness of fit and ease of matching (history matching).

Natural Gas Processing plant design and economics Jan’14 – May’14

Designed a Natural Gas Processing plant comprising sweetening, dehydration, fractionation and economics using Aspen HYSYS and Promax.

500 mmscf of sour natural gas produced from ONGC gas plant was processed under simulation.

Payback period and cost estimates were performed for the ONGC facility.

Hand calculations were performed and compared with the simulation results in order to minimize error.

Natural Gas Pipeline Transportation System Design Aug’14 – Dec’14

Designed a Natural Gas Pipeline Transportation system to transport natural gas Corpus Christi, Texas to Louisiana, New Orleans using Pipesim.

Optimization of diameter to reduce the pressure drop in transportation pipeline.
