Went in depth for the whole semester by implementing the programming development cycle – Analyze problem (building a game); design (poster board with screen shots and cycle developments); coding and testing (I did the coding); presentation and evaluation by professor and students.
Java Class – wrote Java program – diagnostic tool for a Psychologist:
Uses symptoms and brings up a possible diagnosis for patients with psychological disorders.
The program can be used to input patient information.
The program can be adjusted for use by any doctor, not just a psychologist.

Testing of various Macy’s systems using Microsoft Excel analysis tools, Teradata SQL, ALM and other analysis tools; creating test plan, writing test cases and executing test cases. Testing was done using the Waterfall method of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as well as the version of a version of the agile methods called Macy’s Agile.
Software Engineer, Transcore March 2015 – October 2015
Setting up and implementing virtual systems using Hyper-V; conducting software testing of the various Transcore systems; making code changes in Java and .Net code as well as adjusting database scripts.
Associate Tester, UST-Global April 2014 – March 2015
Undertook training in Quality Assurance, in particular Black Box Techniques (Equivalence Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis, Decision Table, State Transitioning, and Use Cases) and White Box (Static) Techniques. In addition, I learned to test applications by coming up with test ideas, test data, test cases, executing these test cases and finding and filing defects. Also undertook Project Coordinator training where I learned elements such project scope, project scheduling, project cost, project communication and risk management as well as using Microsoft Project to create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Project Schedule.
