Please review my qualifications for the position I am applying for. I have my Certificate from California State Fullerton in Materials Management/APICS. I attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, majoring in Business Administration before I moved to California. Kaizen, Gemba, Bolero, and 5S are just a few Quality Process Improvement methodologies that I embrace and have actively participated in.

I have been a materials professional for over 20 years with experience in every aspect of large and Mid-size manufacturing companies. Strong communication skills and continuous improvement mentality have always helped me to excel quickly into leadership roles. I have enjoyed training and helping others strengthen their knowledge in areas of MRP, Inventory Control and Problem Solving skills.

Most recent position is Contractor, Strategic Sourcing Buyer for Circor Aerospace and Defense. While at Fender Musical, I was the Purchasing/Planning Supervisor from 2011 until I resigned to search for a long term career with a stable manufacturing company looking for my excellent skills set.

Very early on in my career I had the benefit of working in order entry, customer service, receiving, stockroom, inventory control, purchasing, planning, and shipping. With this knowledge I wrote all of the standard work instructions for all of these positions.
