I am an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in Oracle Database 11.2g Administration and Oracle E-Business Suite 12 Apps DBA. I also have two degrees: a B.Sc. in Computer Science (2006) from York University (www.yorku.ca – Canada), and B.Sc. in Architecture (1987) from Addis Ababa University (www.aau.edu.et – Ethiopia). I worked at RPM Technologies (www.rpmtec.com) in Toronto, a software company, as an Oracle DBA for a year in Oracle 12c, RAC, 11.2g, and 10.2g Oracle Databases. I managed more than 250 databases for Production, Development, Performance, Quality Assurance and Embedded Testing databases where the total database sizes were more than 10 TB.
I can design, install, configure, upgrade, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, patch procedures and tune databases. I have experience with different database management technologies, so I am able to perform database recovery in RMAN both cold and hot backup, RAC, ASM, purge and reorganization operations, Administering Oracle databases in Cluster ware, RAC One Node Single-Instance with ASM and ASMCA. PROFILE:
