Worked as a research statistician for the Uncertainty in Mid-year Population Estimates project.

Improved skills to solve statistical/analytical problems for conducting analysis in support of the work of the population methodology division.

The use of SAS software for manipulating and analysing data.

Reporting findings and recommendations of analysis and research in a clear and concise way giving presentations, briefings and writing papers (programming in STATA the composite stage for the uncertainty project. I wrote the desk instructions and I reported the findings).

Team work with other staff in the immediate work area and other areas across ONS, to share knowledge and build on existing expertise. Working alongside colleague for some stages of the project.

I was responsible for the composite stage in the project. I updated the STATA code and the files for years 2012 to 2020, reflecting the uncertainty for each of the three components (2011 Census Base, international migration and internal migration) into a single composite measure for each local authority by year.
