Internship

Indore Development Authority (IDA), Indore (M.P) - Under construction hospital training in IDA for 15 Days. This study involves geometric survey for identifying soil behavior, layouts of footing and columns followed by casting and curing.

Completed training for BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System) Project in IDA for 1 Month. This training helps to learn project management skills and also gave exposure to site work. Learn mastic asphalt mixing and laying.

Completed on Job training for Drafting & Planning of BRTS Project in Mehta & Mehta Associates.

Projects

The Transit Scheduling - To develop schedules for bus arrival and departure at the stops of feeder routes for metro (1Year). Planned scheduled transit units are proposed in this study to provide faster and efficient bus transit services in Indore city. This study involves detailed traffic behavior on selected study routes. The methods adapted in calculation of fleet size are manual method and genetic algorithm (GA) optimization method. MATLAB computing software language is used for GA tool. GA tool optimize fleet size which helps to schedule rapid bus transport system.

Detailed Project Report - Prepared Detail Project Report on a rural road near Indore (MP) under P.M.G.S.Y for 6 Months. Key learning is the exposure to methodology of site work. The surveys adopted in this study are traffic count survey and geometric survey. The survey result helps to plan and design the cement concrete pavement. Estimated cost of project was also computed as per schedule of rate (SOR).

Durability of High Performance concrete - To test the durability of high performance concrete prepared by adding 7.5% natural pozzolana in mix along with super plastisizer (1%) and Metakaolin used as a supplementary cementing material which is highly pozzolanic. The water cement ratio reduced up to 0.08 and mix was prepared by 0.33 wcr. Durability was tested in 5% calcium chloride solution and drinking water. The test of compressive strength conducted on the prepared sample to check the suitability of the material.

SOFTWARE SKILLS

Proficient in Application Software System like Auto-CAD, basic Primavera project planner, MS- office.

Well conversant with Operation systems (Win XP, Win 7 & Win 8) and Programming Languages FORTRAN and MATLAB.

Extra Curricular

AAYAAM - Organized the Marathon 2007 and 2008 and Won 1st Prize in inter department table tennis 2008 at S.G.S.I.T.S., Indore.
