Most recently, as CTO, Mandalay Digital, responsible to the CEO for the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of a new User Interface concept for Android phones:

oKey participant in $14 million fund raising, and in the acquisition and integration of two companies in Australia and Israel.

oDeveloped architecture for supporting over 30M subscribers on an international and global scale

Previously, EVP, Technology Development & Operations, of publicly traded, Clearwire, started with a concept and created a prototype – to win $60 million of funding.

oBuilt and led a team of 22 professionals to provide the capability to download content over WiMAX network to Website, Handset, and Mobile Internet Devices.

Earlier, as Vice-President, Technology Development, Amp’d Mobile, responsible for entire system architecture and design - engineering, content management, system build and management, content and web commercial service deployment, live video and music streaming infrastructure, and handset and billing development for the mobile entertainment company – building a team of 86 professionals from the ground-up.

As Co-Founder and CEO, built Sentori, Inc., a billing software business from the ground-up to revenues of $10 million and 70 staff – selling the business to private billing firm.

Provide consulting services to DIRECTV, company that delivers entertainment experience across TV, computer, tablet, and phone.

oResponsible for architecture on mobile initiative with Android, iPhone, iPad, Tablets and Set Top Box.

oAssisted Client to deploy digital graphic assets to cloud for cross-sharing across browsers, mobile devices (Android, iPhone, & iPad), OSX and PCs. Utilize JIRA, AWS, Java, Zabbix, Jenkins, Visio - requiring extensive knowledge in architecture and deploy for international and global infrastructure.

oPerformed project leadership, conducting all meetings, and oversight of end-2-end project deployment.

oResponsible for deployment five different projects targeting launch on the same timeline. SCRUM master performing meetings for Sprint Planning, Spring Backlog Refinement, Spring Reviews - coordinating with team members across three continents: Japan, Germany/India, and US.

oManaged the global deployment for 13 countries with localization.

Provided system integration for a Japanese company, Tangerine, managing iBeacon Solutions and Android Smart BLE platform:

oSole accountability for architecture and database design.

oDirected and project manage a team for UI wireframe and platform development for the Cloud in interfacing with application using beacons via SDK. The apps are developed on iPhone for retails, concerts, trade-shows currently.

oGenerated high customer satisfaction as evidenced by a high service contract with NTT Docomo.

oSuccessfully deployed from concept to reality within 5 months with operational trial at Wireless Japan Tradeshow 2014.

MANDALAY DIGITAL, INC., Los Angeles, CA, 2010-2014

Mandalay Digital Group (NASDAQ: MNDL) is at the convergence of Internet media content and mobile communications. It delivers a mobile services platform that works with mobile operators and third-party publishers to provide portal management, user interface, integrates with content development and billing technology that enables the responsible distribution of mobile entertainment.

CTO

Responsible for Technology Development including architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of a new User Interface concept for Android phones. Responsibility included working closely with client executives and senior managers to deliver product on schedule and within budgets. Deploy system in Southeast Asia.

Evaluated target acquisitions, participated in negotiations, completed technical due diligence, and managed the post acquisition integration of two companies - one in Israel and the other in Australia.

Grew Company from 24 to over 150 professionals spanning four regions: Australia, Middle East (Israel, Europe (Germany), and US.

Raised $14 million of equity capital as a key member of the top executive team and major participant in investor presentations.

Built the international architecture and deployed the systems internationally in Asia – to support over 30 million subscribers.

CLEARWIRE, INC (CLWR), Seattle, WA, 2007 – 2010

A publicly traded telecommunications company that provided mobile and fixed wireless broadband communications services to retail and wholesale customers in the United States, Belgium and Spain. Acquired 100% by Sprint in 2013 (Sprint had previously been a major shareholder).

EVP, Technology Development & Operations

Responsible for Technology Development & Operations - architecture and development of the Content Delivery Platform. Also responsible for Operations, including Revenue Assurance, Billing, Care, NOC, and Data-warehouse. Responsible for $26 million budget.

Started with a concept and created a prototype – to win a $60 million of funding.

oContent included music, video, photo sharing with the capability of streaming and downloading - via subscription model, bundle model, and package model.

AMP’D MOBILE, Los Angeles, CA, 2004 – 2007

The company was a Mobile Virtual Network Operator. Its primary non-Venture Capital investors were MTV Networks and Universal Music Group. The service targeted 18-35 year olds, and was the first integrated mobile entertainment company for youth, young professionals and early adopters.

Vice-President, Technology Development

Responsible for entire system architecture and design - engineering, content management system build and management, content and web commercial service deployment, live video and music streaming infrastructure, and handset and billing development for the mobile entertainment company.

Developed architecture and deployed Content Delivery Platform for purchasing content on both Web and handsets.

Built and managed a team of professionals from 1 to 86 - to provide system integration with Front End development to Back-End including BSS/OSS system, handset deployment, UI development, Web-site deployment, and systems.

Negotiated contracts to generate significant savings – saving $12 million on one contract alone - and managed over 15 different vendors within tight budgets and timelines.

Launched Post-paid, Pre-paid, and Hybrid for both domestic and international markets. Launched operations in Canada and Japan.

Developed a unique customer experience on both handset and web-site.

Completed the whole development and deployment for at a total cost ($5 million), just 5% of the cost incurred by a major competitor, and with more functionality.

SENTORI, INC, Silver Spring, MD, 1994 – 2004

Initially a boutique IT consulting firm that migrated to a national billing software company employing over 70 people.

Co-Founder & CEO

Started a small IT consulting/Systems Integration firm. Transitioned the firm to a software product business by developing an innovative billing and customer care system that enabled operators worldwide to capitalize on the new telecommunications environment.

Recognized the market opportunities, developed a business plan, and implemented market strategies to build a software business from the original IT consulting business – growing the company from 3 to over 70 employees.

Personally led major sales initiatives (project scoping, business analysis, assessment of product customization and preparation and presentation of proposals).

Managed product implementations across a range of different industries for wireless, hotels, train, cables, and on-line reservations.

Lead team of 70+ located in multiple locations across the United States with $18+ Million in combined projects to support end-users and mission critical applications, managing all aspects of the business, and working with tight budgets and cash flow.

Recruited and developed management team and expanded the company into international markets.

Sold business to private billing firm.
