PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

An experienced professional with twenty seven years in the Oil & Gas industry on major projects valued from $600M to $5Billion. I have twenty five valuable years of experience in Cost Engineering, forecasting & budgeting, cost performance reporting, Risk Assessment, financial analysis, and Project Management. I provided support and leadership to EPC Companies and Operators with their Exploration, Drilling and Major Project Department. I implemented project methodologies and procedures for startup companies such as JGCA. I supported Onshore/Offshore, Artic subsea, Construction and EPC LNG projects, proposals, pre-FEED, FEED through all phases. I am self-motivated, team player, possessing real drive and a willingness to succeed with a positive proactive approach. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Lead Project Cost Controller: JGC America, Houston, TX Sept 2014- Nov 2015

Projects: (Alaska LNG, Aurora, S&B, USGC, NEEPF and BANAGAS)

As an Experienced Lead Project Cost I supported several proposals, Pre-FEED, and FEED projects including Alaska LNG Pre-FEED proposal, S&B and USGC Project. I was assigned as a Project Cost Manager for BANAGAS Pre-FEED project. Equally I was assigned as a Risk Manager for Alaska LNG and Aurora S&B proposals and NEEPF project. My responsibilities included Risk assessment & analysis, Cost control, Project management, forecasting & budgeting and progress measurement tools implementation. I monitored the change management log and the Earned Value progress reporting. As well as, I developed the Cost & Risk procedures for PreFEED, FEED, and Proposal Bids. I Introduced and trained the Projects Engineers to master the company progress measurement tools and techniques.

Prepared project trend analysis, performed Budget allocation and cost tracking. I also performed Risk assessment that enabled the forecasting for immediate and long term impacts due to scope changes and project deviations.

Developed a presentation for knowledge sharing to project controls group, providing a learning module to improve team communication, conflict resolution and support teamwork for building a solid functional team.

Facilitated Risk Management workshops for all projects to Executive Management Team, PMT, client, Project Engineers and Contractors.

Conducted a Risk Identification and assessment brainstorming session and updated the Risk Register

Interfaced with Finance Department to assist them with WBS project implementation. I developed the invoicing process flowchart, audited and tracked MHRS, cost and travel expenses.

Prepared several templates for Cost Reporting, Cash Flow, Staffing Plan Histograms, change log management, Cost Performance, issue log and Contingency Management.

Lead Cost Engineer: Dynamic Industries, Inc. Houston 2012-2014

Subsea Project Brownfield US $600M+ (Chevron Oil Company, Subsea Brownfield Angola Project)

As a Lead I managed cost activities compliant with company procedures. Established and maintained cost breakdown structure, variance analysis, and developed project staffing plans. I supported the Subsea Brownfield Angola Project with the preparation of the internal & external Project Monthly Cost Report and monitored the Change Management Log. I assisted all project members with the control, formulation and interpretation of the project budget, trends, and estimate at completion.

Audited and monitored the invoicing process to ensure coding was compatible with the WBS

Tracked the project deliverables using the appropriate tools and managed the project Budget.

Responsible for strategic planning, forecasting, job costing, managing and controlling all financial related project activities.

Lead Project Controls: Superior Energy Services (Technical Marine Division) 2010- 2012

Artic Subsea Containment System Project US $800M+ (Shell Oil Company/Alaska)

Directed and managed all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organization including AP/AR. I provided timely and accurate financial reporting and cost control, budget analysis, trends and forecasts. I was responsible for the project Risk assessment, Risk qualitative & quantitative analysis. I was the liaison between client, Project management team and contractors to solve conflict resolution. Developed the project Budget, monitored the cost for all phases and the change management log.

Developed cost estimation, project work breakdown structure (WBS) and the project cost control procedures.

Analyzed and assessed risks, identifying risk issues and developed mitigating action plans. Facilitated risk workshop for client and project team members.

Prepared the Value of Work Done (VOWD) and the monthly forecast and developed the S-Curve for progress performance and percent complete.

Trained Personnel in using PDK/GP timekeeping system and provided support with risk management and the preparation of the PEP.

Contract Assignment (Assist with BP Spill)

This is a short term assignment to assist with BP Spill. My primary responsibilities are cost control for testing and production services. I monitored the Project Cost and financial activities in conjunction with Functional managers. I was assigned to review the terms of our contract with the client and third party to ensure conformity. I was in charge of auditing accounts payable/receivables and account reconciliation. I Resolved conflicts and improved communication within the team. I Utilized Oracle system E1to process Ticket and reviewed invoices for approval.

Contract Assignment (PDVSA Dragon and Patao)

Risk Project Management & Cost Control: Identified project risks and qualified risk opportunities and threats. Identified possible risk treatment category and facilitated risk workshops. Assessed and monitored the risk probability and impact matrix. Risk assessment and analysis and maintained the risk register. Prepared project cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting. Senior Cost Engineer (Consultant): BP

GOM Drilling &Completion Project Services for Wells: (PLUMA, TIBER& KODIAK)

I was responsible to develop and maintain the project progress measurement, including the consolidation of calculations and analysis for the contractors and vendors monthly inputs. I monitored the cost and trend variance analysis, monthly forecast and AFE preparation. I worked closely with engineers and vendors to monitor the Wells ‘daily cost impact and adjusted the forecast. I supported and interfaced with Project Services, Finance and Procurement team. I monitored the change management log and ensure that project deliverables and budget are met using the appropriate tools and techniques.

Project Control Specialist: Marathon Oil Company, Houston 2004-2008

Major Projects: (Gas to Fuel, Gulf of Mexico, EG LNG Train 1Mega Project US $5B)

Seconded to the Project Management Team of the affiliate of Marathon Oil Company: Equatorial Guinea LNG Inc; in the Houston head office for the administration of an EPC contract for the construction of a US $5 billion Liquid Natural Gas project. Provided cost input to and implemented the appropriate cost coding in coordination with accounting department. Timely Periodic support of projects based on Project Management application as required for Cost Control Activities including: Integration, Scope, Schedule & Cost, Quality, HR, Communications, Procurement and Risk Management. Analysis of period and project to date expenditures compared to the budgeted amounts to complete our deliverables on time and within the budget. I used the earned value reporting technique to compare planned performance to actual performance. I facilitated Risk Management workshops for specific projects and organized lunch & learn to PC group to improve our information distribution process and improve team communication.

Financial Analyst/Advisor: Aramco Services Company 1996- 2004

I was the right hand to the IR Managers coming from Arabia for rotational three years assignment. I developed the IR Budget and the five-year business plan. I monitored the forecast and all the department financial activities including the variance trend analysis. I focused on improving the internal communications between the foreign executives and the US Nationals for a seamless operation and resolve conflicts between the two cultures.
