Worked in construction and engineering departments and 6 different contract packages at Hamad International Airport (New Doha International Airport)

-Construction Manager in the Main Terminal Building: Led MTB contractors with 7 engineers. Besides the supervision of various civil, structural, architectural and selective demolition works, managed critical path activities such as 40,000m2 terrazzo installation (member of six sigma black belt PIP), 8,000m2 interior glazing, 2,500m2 stone cladding, 22 public toilets, 100 hotel rooms with spa and gym interior finishes including a lap pool; also interface management between different contract packages.

-Quality Inspector in the Passenger Terminal: Conducted 1104 quality inspections in various interior finishing trades. Reviewed 2710 architectural, civil and structural as-built drawings.

-Construction and Quality Manager of Airport Security Screening Systems: Led the contractor with 2 engineers. Managed airport wide security screening system with the installation of 120 x-ray machines, 280 walk through metal detectors and 100 ETD machines including testing, commissioning and final turnover documents.

-Construction and Quality Manager of Passenger Terminal and Car Park Directional Signs and Economy, First and Business Class Check-in Islands and Counters, various kiosks: Managed the installation and inspections of economy & first-business class check-in islands, including directional signs in the entire passenger terminal and short term car park, interface coordination, final turnover documents and formal walk downs with the client representatives.

-Quality Inspector in the entire airport: Quality inspections and processing of architectural punch items in all buildings including Qatar Civil Defense comments for the airport opening.

Plus, during this time, I conducted leadership and safety trainings both in Turkish and English, also attended various Bechtel workshops such as contract management and project controls. I also reviewed and processed method statements (MS), critical technical inquiries (CTI), request for information (RFI), quality action notices, safety action notices, shop drawings, payment application reviews and commercial letters.
