Designated as the primary go-to Technician for Research and Development projects by utilizing thorough understanding of the production process and critically applying this knowledge to analyze parts for possible defects.

Trained numerous inspectors on work instructions and procedures which lead to a more insightful and intelligent inspection team. This positively affected the overall production quality.

Assisted the sustaining engineering team in qualification of new equipment as well as troubleshooting and repairing production equipment’s.

In a surprisingly short time frame became certified in multiple areas of the production including Photolithography, Electroplating and In-process Inspection.

Fab Technician – Microfabrica (06/14– 09/15)

In Process Inspection

Responsible for training new employees on all in-process work instructions and procedures.

Performing in process inspections on various semiconductor and medical devices.

In-process inspection of products for various defects and abnormalities.

In-process testing of products via diverse state of the art systems to assure build parameter are in spec.

Utilize compound microscope to track, log and eliminate potential build defects.

Work with production engineers to stay current on inspection standards.

Closely following work instruction protocol to assure work is done at the highest quality in order to exceed customer satisfaction.

Place builds on hold for further examination and testing by the engineering team.

Report feedback as well as help establish new work instructions for in-process Inspection.

Electroplating

Assure all operations are performed in sequence.

Perform multiple plating procedures on various builds by multitasking and following work priority.

Load wafer containing fixtures into baths for electroplating.

Load proper electroplating software recipes per specific build requirement.

Maintain plating bath pH at the specific levels.

Perform various post electroplating tests to assure builds are in spec and in conformance with work instructions.

Follow proper protocol for hazardous material and waste disposal.

Photolithography Operations and In-process Testing/Inspection

Perform post photolithography inspection on builds to check for any abnormalities and defects.

Use both automatic and manual coaters to apply photoresist onto the substrate.

Check critical dimensions of the photoresist ensuring that it is in spec.

Use NEXIV Nikon to check for alignment and critical dimension specs.

Rework builds that do not pass the required specifications.
