Responsible for Maintenance planning of general, routine & preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment of Cooling water system; ECP and Compressors.
Responsible for planning of spares & ensuring availability of all critical spares in area of work with appropriate record keeping of usage & replenishment.
Responsible for maintaining high quality & safety standard at work site.
Responsible for collecting data and analyzing occurrences using historised data of various parameters.
Coordinating & networking with contractors & vendors.
Since Feb 2014- June 2015 : PT Citra kusuma Perdana, Construction project for KAltim Prima Coal Mine east Kalimantan Indonesia. (On deputation from tata power)
The Key Deliverables as Construction consultant
Organize Project review meetings with Contractors and Consultants and Prepare minutes for the same
Co-ordination of project activities maintaining highest degree of Safety & Quality Standards. Analysis High risk activities and implementing risk management plan.
Review and expediating Engineering of various packages of BOP (HVAC, LP Valves, Fire protection system) and co-ordination with consultant and end client (KPC).
Design review and approval of P&ID, Plant layout. Supply BBU, Quality plans, MDCC issuance and Invoice certification.
Quantity certification and project budget analysis along with project manager during ordering stage of various packages.
Preparation and evaluating RFQ, vendor selection with Procurement team.
Ensuring adherence to target milestones.
Develop recover plan to meet the deadline in case of any slippage from the original schedule
Expediting delivery of materials and Help procurement with specification / alternative suggested with respect contry specific requirements.
Packages handled:-
Structure of STG, control building and Bunker structure
Engineering review and integration of vendor engineering with BTG area civil engineering to ensure on time deliverables like civil foundation of equipments and readiness of control room.
Co ordination with all department with respect to work front and chart out a detail liquidation plan to ensure deployment of resources at right place.
Turbine & Auxiliaries:
Execution of erection activities of Turbine and Generator right from the civil construction stage till completion of erection of all equipment in unit #1
Execution of TG auxiliaries including Deaerator, Heaters, Ejectors GSC, Overhead oil tank, and lube oil system of Turbine.
Surface Condenser & Piping:
Erection of first condenser after TG deck casting using dragging method and executed this heaviest equipment erection task safely.
Detail Engineering co-ordination with consultant to make alternative in next two units for change in TG deck staging design and allow the contractor to erect condenser well before the TG deck casting. This saves 100 Man days and crushed the forecast schedule for building completion by 6 months.
Engineering co-ordination in execution of fabrication of HP piping works at site for unit # 1.
Central Control room
Detail planning and engineering co-ordinations from Consultant / Client and vendors (Contractors) to meet project construction plan.
Taking proactive actions in civil procurement items and effective resource mobilization to complete Central control room / Switchgear room readiness and meet project milestone.
